　　當當自營進口兒童書由中國圖書進出口（集團）總公司童書館供貨 鵝媽媽童謠(MotherGoose)是英國民間童謠集。這些民間童謠在英國流傳時間相當久，有的長達數(shù)百年，總數(shù)約有八百多首，內容典雅，有幽默故事、游戲歌曲、兒歌、謎語、催眠曲、字母歌、數(shù)數(shù)歌、繞口令、動物歌等，英國人稱其為 Nursery Rhymes(兒歌)，美國人稱其為 MotherGoose(鵝媽媽童謠)，是英、美人士從孩童時代就耳熟能詳?shù)膬焊琛?不同的編輯和插畫手出版過各種版本的鵝媽媽童謠。本版本是廖彩杏推薦圖書，它的插畫手是廣受兒童歡迎的Max and Ruby系列圖書的作者。

　　Should we add Mother Goose to the list of endangered species? Possibly. The advent of television and our increasingly busy schedules tend to crowd such treasures as lullabies and fairy tales from the lives of our children--unless of course they come to us courtesy of the Disney Corporation.
